Composer Portfolio

Currently I have a full-time job as a composer and game writer, I will update my portfolio when neccessary. Meanwhile, any offer are welcome!

Branching creativity

My creativity is an interesting phenomenon. In my solo project I discovered that usually I have dozens of variation ideas for a single song. This kind of branching creativity is extremely useful in composing music. I can present plenty of variations of the same idea for the team so we can always find the perfect melody and arrangement for a game, cutscene, or mood. The songs listed below give the listener a sneak peek into this branching creativity I embrace every day. I am always self-developing, it is the key of maintaining creative openness. I collected hundreds of song ideas with this method during my musical journey, but I come up with new ideas daily and I am happy to compose any new musical dimension for my future teams/clients.  Simple or complex, slow or fast, dynamic or static,  minimal or epic, count me in!

What this means in practice

As a multi-intrumentalist musician, with singing capabilites I can write, and produce music in various genres. I have been playing on the guitar and singing for more than 16 years, and I learnt to play on other instruments as well: bass guitar, piano, drums, didgeridoo, ukulele, and more. On top of those I have dozens of VST instruments, therefore orchestral music, and electronic music are also on my pallet.  Writing, recording, and producing are all part of my package, furthermore I am currently learning about the implementation of music in games, namely Wwise and Fmod.

Menu / Lobby Music - 'New Home'

This track's original idea was written for a fantasy VR game's menu/lobby, which was the protagonist wizard's home tower. I was asked to compose a calming, feels-like-home, feeling safe mood piece. With several medieval instruments in minimalistic form. The first part of the track is that idea, and then I finished the track in my own taste to show some of the moods of the same idea-branch.

Crypt / Dungeon Music showcase - "Catacombs tour"

The second piece of the canceled fantasy VR title. The first level of the game was a huge crypt/dungeon/catacombs area sometimes with narrow corridors, sometimes with greater halls. I thought recording and publishing a 30 minutes long ambient static piece would have been weird. So I rather wrote a tour-like experience with musical notes to guide the listener to an uncomfortable, dangerous and sometimes scary space. All those small different parts of the song could be events that trigger in a certain tomb, or facing a certain enemy type, or just to make the player a little bit uneasy while wandering in the catacombs.

Fight music rock song - "Boss fight saga"

This boss fight theme supposed to be the level boss music of the same fantasy VR game. The intro would have been the boss level area theme, and at the start of the fight the rock music came in. My branching led me to this high-stakes feeling, epic fight music.  Naturally the music would change in a way to fit in the game perfectly, but without an actual game I could let myself write a song with this dynamic impulse to showcase some of my skills.

Mobile Game Music (unreleased title) - "Puzzle Chill"

I was hired to write a simple, looped music for a hypercasual puzzle-platformer mobile game in 2020. The request was a chill, few instruments music. This is how this "Puzzle chill" track was born. It is a 2:40 long looped music. The game is unreleased, not in development anymore, but I got permission to use the test version footage of the game.  The game is the property of Gábor Ócsai.

Short film score -  "Life goes on"/"Zajlik az élet" (2020) - "Waves of possibilities" ambient EP

In 2020 I was asked to write music for a short directed by Máté Holdosi, and then I became the 'main actor' of the small project as well. Some parts of the music were used in the short film, but I had a concept idea about a whole ambient/chill EP, so eventually 'Waves of possibilites' came to existence with three tracks.

Piano music - "Unstoppable change"

These ideas are one of my first piano melodies I wrote a few years back, and I wanted to show a different style than the ones listed above. So I recorded this dramatic emotional flow.
