Performer, composer, writer

Short version:

I'm Bence Gombocz, a human who took refuge in musical space and in the writing dimension. Entertainment, self-reflection and exploration.

Longer version:

My musical journey started in 2006. My first instruments were the guitar and my voice. The first path I took was my solo project with mostly acoustic hippi, and progressive-rock songs.

I was a street musician in my early 20's, I hitchhiked through Western-Europe and played street music all around. I graduated as a Buddhist teacher at The Dharma Gate Buddhist University in Budapest in 2013. I am merely fascinated and forever curious about the human condition and eager for self understanding. This attitude carves my songwriting habits in my solo project: most of my songs are about nature, our inner world and the universe.

In one period of my life I was a kitchen planner at IKEA. After that I was an action extra in Hollywood and Netflix productions as a viking, a knight,a merchant and sometimes a nobel. I breathed in the interesting, and occasionally stressful world of movie making. Meanwhile my love for music led me to be an overall stage technician at Budapest Park's main stage. I wanted to be close to art... During these times I wrote lots of songs, learnt new instuments, my composer aspect grew, I got my first composer jobs: I wrote a short film score, and a mobile game's music. Exploring the musical world as a composer beyond my solo project is a fascinating aspect! Dozens of genres are waiting for me to explore, and to mix them in a new order.

Few years ago I began game writing as well. Creating characters, worlds, telling stories is just as important to me now as music.

This website is about the activities that are sticking with me for the rest of my life. Solo project music, composer projects, and game writing.

I will never stop creating, I will never stop learning and changing, and I will always be happy to share my art with the world.

I reached into a new phase of my life. I am aiming to fulfill my solo project's potentials. Besides, as a forever gamer and movie enthusiast it became clear to me what is it I would like to do.
Now, I would like to share my skills and knowledge with others to create compelling, and unique worlds and stories, together.
